Setting up your organization on VolunTie is quick and easy. Just follow these steps:
1. Add a Title and a Short Description
Type your Organization name and briefly describe your organization’s mission, activities, or goals
2. Add a Location
Add a location – accurate or not – to better identify the organization with your users.
3. (Optional) Add a Picture
Upload a logo or image that represents your organization. This adds a personal touch and makes your profile more engaging.
4. Select the Privacy Profile
Choose how visible your organization should be:
- Public – Anyone can find your organization and request to join.
- Private – A “joining link” can be shared to selected people to join the organization.
- Hidden – Your organization has no sharing link, user can only be invited.
5. (Optional) Select Registration Type
If your organization is registered with a public scheme (e.g., UK Charity Commission), you can select the relevant type and enter your registration number. This adds credibility and may unlock additional features.
