Getting Started

Follow these steps to set up your organization and start collaborating with your team and volunteers:

  1. Access VolunTie: App, Web or Mobile? Up to You!
    Choose how you want to use VolunTie—on your browser, mobile device, or desktop app. Flexibility is built in.
  2. Create an Organization
    Set up your organization’s profile and lay the foundation for your community.
  3. Add a Welcome Post and Initial Pages
    Introduce your mission, share key information, and create a warm space for new members.
  4. Invite Other Members
    Bring your team on board—administrators, coordinators, and volunteers.
  5. Create an Event – i.e. an Opportunity
    Launch your first volunteering opportunity and define how people can get involved.
  6. Share the Opportunity
    Spread the word! Promote your event across your network and beyond.
  7. Chat with Members
    Use VolunTie’s built-in chat to stay connected, answer questions, and build community.
  8. Collaborate with Other Administrators
    Work together behind the scenes to manage events, members, and content.
