- Creating a new organization
- Joining an existing organization
Once you are in an orgsnization, you can join the existing opportunities, or create a new opportunity.
1. Creating a New Organization
Are you a member of a fantastic volunteer organization or local community group that’s not yet on VolunTie? You can be the hero and create the organization’s profile! Here’s what you’ll need to do:
- Fill in the essentials: Provide your organization’s name, a captivating description, and your location.
- Public or Private?: Choose whether your organization profile will be visible to everyone on VolunTie or remain exclusive to your members.
- Invite the members!: Send an invitation link to the members of the organization
- Become a volunteer hub! Once your organization is set up, you can create volunteer opportunities, events, pages, conversations.
2. Joining an Existing Organization
Is your organization already rocking VolunTie? Perfect! Here’s how to join the party:
- Don’t recreate it: If a fellow member has already created your organization’s profile on VolunTie, don’t create another one.
- Get the invite: Ask the member who created the organization’s profile to send you an invitation.
- Join the team!: You’ll receive a link that grants you access to your organization’s VolunTie profile.
